Pain conditions can often be overwhelming and frustrating to deal with, and the medical system will often bombard you with jargon that you are completely unfamiliar with. The purpose of 360 Pain Academy is to teach you everything you need to know about your pain conditions and ways of improving your health, in a simple, friendly, and easy-to-understand fashion.
In addition, this content is taught by Dr. Chu, an expert physician specializing in these fields of knowledge.
Epictetus once famously stated that, “Only the educated are free.”
At 360 Pain Academy, we believe that trustworthy medical knowledge should be made simple and available to everyone, not just medical professionals, and that doing so will help to empower people everywhere to conquer their pain and live healthier lives.

360 Pain Academy is best thought of as an educational platform to help teach you about your pain conditions and health optimization in a friendly and easy-to-understand fashion; it is not medical advice or meant to be a substitute for your physician and/or physical therapist. 360 Pain Academy is meant to be an informational supplement to your standard medical care.
In this modern era, you are lucky to get even 10 or 15 minutes of face-to-face time with your physician. Thus, our philosophy is that it makes sense to fully educate yourself on your conditions and what is happening in your own body, so that you can make the most of each of your doctor visits and physical therapy sessions.
Also, after your course of medical treatment is complete, and you’ve overcome your current pain flare, having a deep knowledge of your pain conditions, how your spine and musculoskeletal system work, as well as the proper exercises and stretches, will help you stay pain-free and prevent future flare-ups!

If, in addition to your neck or low back pain, you also begin to experience any of the following symptoms:
Significant weakness of one or more limbs
Inability to walk
Loss of bowel or bladder control
Loss of sensation in the saddle region
Please make sure to contact your own physician immediately. If your doctor is unavailable, please go to the emergency department.
Please be aware that pain, by itself, is not inherently dangerous or a red flag; however, a new neurologic deficit is always something you should contact your physician about.
